Lil Stinker

Zach experienced his first Trick or Treat!!  He was a skunk.  We thought that was an appropriate costume since Rudy was sprayed by a skunk the night before Zach was born.  Zach did well in the beginning, but then it got cold and all that walking around wore him out so he fell asleep in the front pack.  We made it about an hour before calling it quits and getting back inside to warm up :)

Fix

Residents, Interns & Doctors, Oh My!

Poor Zach had a bad day yesterday.  Daddy picked him up from the babysitter and found out that he had some problems in the afternoon.  The babysitter was concerned that he may have had a seizure.  So we called Dr. Jene (the best doctor ever!) and he said that it was best that we call our pediatrician, but most likely Zach would have to seen immediately.  Sure enough our doctor said to take him to Children's Hospital Emergency room.  Zach was evaluated and monitored in the Emergency Room for a couple hours.  Everything seemed to be fine, but there was still concern for overnight.  So Mommy & Zach got a room and stayed at Children's overnight so he could be monitored.  Poor little guy had to be hooked up to machines and was all out of sorts.  But the night went well and we are back home today.  After all the concern, turns out it was most likely a reflux issue :) 

Feeding Time

Zach has such a great big brother.  He gets so excited when Jake is around to entertain him.  It is so cute to watch the two of them interact.  Jake loves to help take care of Baby Zach, especially giving him bottles.

Back to Work

Mommy had to go back to work this week.  Here are pictures of the boys on their first day going full time together.  Jake was excited to show his brother the ropes at Ms. Rita's.  He tells us every day that he takes care of his baby brother :)

I'm Sitting!

Mommy & Daddy decided to pull out the Bumbo seat the other day.  Zach's neck is so strong that he is able to sit up for a while.  He was so proud to be in a big boy seat.  Jake got a little jealous and decided to try it out after Zach was done :)

Pumpkin Patch

While Nana & Papa were here, they took all the grandkids (Griffin, Jake & Zach) to the pumpkin patch.  Here's a picture of Zach riding in a wagon.  (more pics of pumpkin patch on Jake's blog)

Smiles for Papa!

Mommy & Daddy took an adult only trip to Tahoe.  While we were away, Grandma & Grandpa Bramel watched Jake & Zach for two nights, and Nana & Papa Zdonek watched them the other two nights.  Here are some great pics of Zach smiling at Papa.

Yeh Boyz!

Jake loves wearing hats and he couldn't wait to put a hat on baby Zach.  Jake was so excited when his brother looked like him in a ball cap.

Ham

Zach loves the camera.  As soon as Mommy, gets the camera out he is all smiles.  Excuse the spit up on the first outfit.

2 Month Check Up

Zach had his 2 month check up today.  He is weighing in at a very healthy 12.94 lbs (80%) and is 23.5 inches long (73%).  Doctor said everything looks great!  Now we just need to get him to sleep thru the night and we will be all set :)  Unfortunately, today's visit came with 4 shots.  Poor little Zach's face was super red and he was screaming on the tops of his lungs :( 

Funny Boy

Zach has been showing his personality the past couple days.  He is reacting to Mommy & Daddy's voice, but loves his brother's the best.  It is so cute to watch Zach smile at Jake.  Jake gets excited to know his brother is responding to him.  Here are some pics from today of the little guy doing two of his favorite new tricks, smiling and looking at himself in the mirror.
