Christmas Parade

Last night we went to the West Chester Christmas parade.  It was at night so all the Christmas lights were on.  Zach was enjoying watching all the comotion.  He especially liked it when "Ho Ho" walked in the parade.  And he loves Candy Canes :)

Hot Lips

Nana & Papa sent the boys a Halloween package.  One of many treats were these Hot Lips suckers.  Zach wears them very well :)

Batmen

Trick or Treat

Zach was an Ewok this year to go along with his brother's Darth Vader costume.  It was cold and rainy for trick or treat.  Zach was not very interested in wearing his Ewok hat, but loved Daddy's Bengals hat.  We went with a big group of boys; they were way too fast for Zach.  So Zach and Daddy took their time going to a couple houses.  Zach had a great time and was very polite to the people giving out candy :)

Kings Island

We took the boys to Kings Island today with Auntie Kris, Griff, and Grandma Patty.  It was a special visit to Kings Island because not only did they get to ride the rides, but they got to trick or treat with the dinosaurs.  Zach was a bit scared of these huge life like dinosaurs that moved.  But after a while, he would run up to each one with a smile on his face and say "Ohhh My"!!!  Like last time he enjoyed a wide variety of snacks today while taking in the people watching because there are not many rides he can go on.

Spooky Hollow

We went to our favorite pumpkin patch this weekend.  Zach was really looking forward to it because Jake brought home a pumpkin this week from his babysitter's house and Zach didn't have one.  So this was his chance to pick his very own.  This pumpkin patch also has an awesome hayride that takes you to "Spooky Hollow".  The hayride takes you through woods with lots of water and some gorilla comes out to chase and scare you.  I think Zach was happiest when he got his apple cider slushy :)

Papa

Nana & Papa stopped for the night in Cincinnati on their way back from Tybee.  Since Zach didn't get to go on the trip he was SOOOO excited to spend time with the two of them.

Labor Day - Sunday

We took the kids to Kings Island for the first time.  There was not too many rides that Zach could ride;  he needs to grow several more inches.  But he had a great time being outside, people watching, and enjoying special snacks (especially the icee).

Labor Day - Saturday

Nana came to visit us Labor Day weekend.  On Saturday we went to a bounce house place for the boys to burn off some energy.  At first Zach was just interested in watching Jake and Griffin.  After a while he was ready to play.  He had a great time bouncing around.  The only problem was the basketball bouncy was broke :(  As most of you know, he is obsessed with basketball so he was a bit disappointed.

Zach's First Drive in Movie

During the summer we love to set up the portable movie player for the boys outside.  This was Zach's first time staying up late enough to enjoy the "Drive in Movie".  He was so excited to stay up late and hang with the big boys. . . .just look at the expression on his face :)

Mommy & Auntie Kris

Mommy and Auntie Kris had our friend Kelsey come over to watch the kids the night in between our birthdays (the big boys were at golf) so we could get pedicures.  We were surprised to come home to home made cards and cupcakes from the kids.  Thank you Kelsey!!

Party's Not Over

The day after Zach's birthday party the boys played in the backyard for hours.  They were having so much fun, but it was super hot.  Griffin and Jake decided it was a good idea to get the hose out and cool everyone off.  Here are some shots of them messing around and then of Zach with wet party hair!!!

Zach's Birthday Party

We had a low key family birthday party for Zach.  He loved being with his most favorite people.  Zach was so excited to open presents, but then got a little overwhelmed with all the kids and giftts!!!  He was proud to show us on his fingers how old he is now.  Zach had a basketball cake because for those of you who don't know, he is obsessed and really great at shooting hoops.  He had a great time teasing Uncle Randy with this cake :)  Overall, a wonderful party with the most special people to him.

Zach is 2!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Zach!!  Zach turned 2 on August 10th.  He is such an amazing kid.  He is so laid back and easy to go with the flow.  He is a sweet heart and the best snuggler.  Zach is very attached to his blanket, still sucks his thumb and loves doing whatever his older brother is doing. He is a bit more shy than Jake ever was with new people.  But once he knows you, he loves you. We feel so lucky to have such a wonderful addition to our family.
Zach's birthday was on a Friday.  So once Mommy got home from work we opened his presents.  He got a lot of help from Jake :)  Once the gifts were unwrapped we went to Auntie Kris' house to have dinner and Nana & Papa were there!!  It was a great night of relaxing with family.

Butler County Fair

Last night we went to the Butler County Fair with Grandma & Grandpa.  As always, Zach loves all the people watching.  He just soaks it all in and loves being in crowds (as long as no stranges try to talk to him :)  He was too small for most the rides but we found a couple he could go on.  He went down the big slide with Daddy, the Merry Go Round with Grandpa, the helicopter, the firetruck and of course tea cups with Mommy.  He was most excited when he tried to shoot a basketball in the hoop and won a little ball!
