Bros

Here are some pics of Jake and Zach messing around today.

License to Drive

Nana & Papa got this car as a x-mas present for Zach.  He was having so much fun pretending to drive around this afternoon.  He was sticking his tongue out (as usual) and laughing :)

Tongue

Zach has found his tongue.  He is constantly sticking his tongue out at us.  It is so cute until you try to feed him and the food comes right back out on his tongue :)

Haircut

Zach had his first professional haircut today!!!  After looking at the last group of pictures, we realized he was starting to look a little homeless and it was time for a trim.  Zach got to sit in a little red car and watch Baby Einstein.  He did really good until the clippers came out to trim around his ears.  He got a little scared and starting crying.  But considering he is only 7 months, he did great for his first haircut experience!!

Push ups!

Zach has mastered his push ups and he is getting stronger.  He gets up in the push up position and starts rocking.  He can moved backwards, but still not forwards.  Right now, Mommy and Daddy are fine with him still not being mobile.

Circus

We went to the circus last night with Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Amy.  Zach loved all the commotion and watching the lights.  He did great the entire first half.  He was a little jealous of his brother's popcorn and was doing everything he could to grab some.  He also liked Jake's circus hat, but it was a little big.  Amazingly, I was able to rock him to sleep for the second half.  It was SO loud and he slept soundly in my arms :)

Commercial

Jake loves to push Zach around in his walker.  Sometimes he gets it going so fast, Zach looks like the baby from the HP printer commercial.

Baptism

We had Zach's Baptism this past weekend.  We were so excited to get some good family pics while we were all dressed up, but Jake had an accident prone morning.  Right before we were ready to leave he fell (over nothing as usual) hard on his face.  He got a fat lip and bloody nose and was in no mood for pictures.  Zach did great during his Baptism, actually fell asleep for most of it :)  Aunt Amy is his God Mother and Uncle Randy is his God Father.  He was dead asleep when the Priest poured water over his head so when we walked back to our spot he rubbed his head and face like what is going on and went right back to sleep.  One of my best memories was at the end when Jake realized Zach's head was wet from holy water, he went over and decided to "baptize" himself (again).  That's right, he cupped a handful of water and put it over his own head :)  You got to love kids!

Papa's Boys

Nana and Papa were in town this past weekend.  As soon as Papa got here, the boys were all over him :)

Best Buds

For some unknown reason, any time Randy would pick up Zach, he would start crying.  Randy has been working so hard for Zach to like him. . . . and his hard work finally paid off!!

Walker

This stage is so fun, but so challenging to keep Zach entertained and happy while we cook, clean, etc.  So we brought out the walker a couple weeks ago for another form of entertainment.  Not only does Zach love it, but Jake has a great time interacting with him (aka pushing him around).  Here are some pictures of Zach's first time in the walker.

Sitting (Kind Of)

These pictures are from the end of February (Mommy has been a bit busy lately).  Zach has been doing pretty well sitting on his own.  We have to be in close distance because he still flops over pretty frequently as he is trying to master this skill.
