Hilton Head - Hard Work

Zach found out that going on vacation is hard work. . . . all the running, playing, swimming, sea air, sunshine, good food, good company really makes a little guy tired.  Here is a picture of Zach chillin' :)

Hilton Head - Treats

Every night after dinner the boys got some type of special treat.  Most nights we walked to the General Store which had a small selection of ice cream treats.  Zach usually got to share with Daddy, but one night Jake was feeding him some of his ice cream sandwich.  Zach also got a Ring Pop one night which he LOVED!!!  That was an interesting night putting him to bed :) 

Hilton Head - Pool

We were so excited to see how Zach would do in the pool this vacation.  He LOVES splashing around at bath time so we thought he would love the pool.  The problem was, he enjoyed exploring on his own outside the pool way better.  But once we got him engaged with the million pool toys that Nana brought, he had fun.  Mommy bought a swim suit that had a built in life jacket (which made him look like a body builder) and he was completely comfortable in the pool with that. 

Hilton Head - Beach

We took a family (Zdonek, Gaspar & Bramel) vacation to Hilton Head this past week.  The house we stayed in was amazing with its own pool and hot tub and only one row back from the beach. 
Zach was very unsure of the beach.  At first he would not even put his feet in the sand.  Thank goodness Mommy bought some water shoes.  Then he was afraid of the waves coming in.  But once we got him in a comfortable spot, he loved exploring.  He enjoyed playing with the beach toys, loved watching other people (takes after his Mommy) and especially like watching the kites fly.

Cheese

Zach has taken a liking to the camera.  As soon as we get the camera out, he comes running over and says "Cheese".  Here are his "Cheese" pictures.

Bubbles

Nana and Papa came in town to help celebrate Griffin and Jake's birthdays.  Zach was in heaven being around Papa all weekend.  Nana & Papa were nice enough to give Zach a little present even though it was not his birthday.  They got him a bubble machine, which he LOVED!!  He would chase them around saying "Bubble"!!
