Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween from our little parrot.  Zach was his pirate brother's parrot.

Trick or Treat

We had a little family Halloween party on Saturday night.  It was filled with lots of fun food, pumpkin carving and other tricks.  Zach enjoyed his favorite treat, cookies.  He is such a cookie monster.  As soon as we get the cookies out he starts clapping, bouncing up and down and laughing.  He also followed his brothers footsteps on the Halloween tricks:  Googly eyes and Groucho marx glasses.  We thought we would try to put the glasses on and he would immediately through them off, boy were we wrong.  He wore them proudly and if they happen to fall off, he would demand that we put them right back on.

Spooky Hollow

We went to a super fun pumpkin patch on Saturday.  When we first pulled in, we were unsure about what the place had to offer.  We were pleasantly surprised by the super fun hayride.  It was about a 20 minute adventure through the woods.  A tractor pulled our wagon filled with hay thru 2 feet of mud and water.  There were moments we thought for sure we would get stuck.  Mommy did not prepare well for this trip and had no toys to entertain Zach on this hayride.  Luckily I had a bottle of advil that made a great rattle substitute (not sure what people around us thought), but it did the trick.  We will definitely make a trip back to this pumpkin patch next Halloween :)

Uncle Randy's Birthday

Last Friday was Uncle Randy's birthday.  Zach was so excited to help him celebrate.  But I must admit that he was more excited to see his best buddy, Papa.  Nana & Papa came into town for Randy's b-day and Halloween fun.
