Michigan - July 7th

The Jandernoa's came over in the morning to enjoy the pool.  Zach & Samantha took a little break to have some juice.  After nap time Zach went around trying on Papa's shoes. . .red shoes and Papa's work boots.  Zach loves trying on big shoes!!!  Then we had a very nice visit with Granny O, or as Zach calls her "O".

Michigan - July 6th

We took the kids to Tunnel Park to hang out at the beach.  It was so hot that we spent most of our time in Lake Michigan.  Zach is such an easy relaxed kid; instead of running around the beach (like his brother), he was comfortable sitting on Daddy's lap just chillin'.

Michigan - July 5th

We took a road trip to Nana & Papa's house.  Zach loves being in the water and splashing around.  He would prefer if nobody was holding him, but he cannot swim and refuses to wear floaties.  Like his brother he loves riding the horsey at Nana & Papa's house.

Happy Birthday Great Grandma Jewell

Happy 4th of July and Happy Birthday Great Grandma Jewell!  We went to Grandma & Grandpa's house to celebrate Great Grandma Jewell's birthday.  Grandma & Grandpa set up 2 kiddie pool and a slip & slide to keep the kids cool on a hot hot day!!  As usual Zach was more interested in playing basketball :)

Boom Boom

We went to Gaspar's for fireworks on the 3rd of July.  Any time Zach would hear fireworks, he would say "Boom Boom".  He had fun running around watching all the big kids play.  Uncle Randy got Griffin's dirt bike out, but Zach was not interested in riding; he just wanted to try on the helmet :)  If anyone knows my kids, it would probably be a good idea for them to wear one of these at all times :)  Unfortunately, Zach missed the fireworks because he had to go to bed. . . .maybe next year!!

Zoo

We took the boys to the Zoo today.  Zach LOVED looking at all the different animals.  He just soaks it all in.  He really liked the gorillas, train ride and feeding giraffes.

Sprinkler

Memorial Day weekend was super hot!  Mommy and Daddy spent all day and evening working in the yard so we were not able to make it to the pool.  So to cool the boys off we decided to get out the sprinklers.  Zach was not a big fan of the cold water spraying around him.  But he had fun with the balls that came with one of the sprinklers and laughing at his brother goofing off.
